Troubleshooting

Use this page when NimbusDash does not behave as expected while creating, loading, saving, refreshing, or exporting dashboards.

If you see Please select a valid saved search, choose a valid saved search before clicking Next.

If you see Please select a valid NimbusQL query, choose a valid NimbusQL query before clicking Next.

If the expected source is missing, confirm that you have access to the saved search or NimbusQL query in NetSuite.

If NimbusDash says NimbusQL is not installed, the account may not have the NimbusQL bundle or required records available.

Ask an administrator to confirm whether NimbusQL is installed and configured in the NetSuite account.

If NimbusDash says it cannot retrieve the list of NimbusQL queries, refresh the page and try again. If the issue continues, ask an administrator to check the NimbusQL setup and permissions.

If a dashboard is missing from Load Dashboard, check whether:

  • The dashboard is public.
  • Your role is included in the dashboard audience.
  • Your employee record is included in the dashboard audience.
  • You have access to the underlying data source.
  • You are in the correct NetSuite account.

Ask the dashboard owner or administrator to review the sharing settings.

If Save Dashboard or Add Chart is missing, you may have view-only access.

Ask the owner or administrator to enable Allow Audience to Edit or save a copy of the dashboard with a new name if that option is available.

If a dashboard shows Cached Data, use the refresh icon beside the badge to request updated data.

Cache refreshes can take time. If the date does not update, ask an administrator to confirm that cache processing is available and that the dashboard is saved with Use Cached Data enabled.

For large live datasets, NimbusDash may load part of the result set and show a message that more rows are being fetched or that caching is recommended.

Save the dashboard with Use Cached Data enabled if users need the full dataset reliably.

PDF export requires at least one chart. If NimbusDash shows The dashboard must contain at least one chart to export to PDF, add and configure a chart before exporting.

Use CSV or Excel export from the grid when you need row-level data instead of a chart-based report.

A red alert banner indicates that NimbusDash could not complete an action. Try refreshing the page and repeating the action.

If the issue continues, capture the message, dashboard name, data source, and steps that caused the problem, then contact your administrator or NimbusLabs support.
