Licensing
NimbusDash checks license and version state when users open the app. License state can affect access, warnings, and support messaging.
About NimbusDash
Section titled “About NimbusDash”The About NimbusDash page can show product information such as version, license type, and expiration date.
Users can open this from the left-hand navigation bar.
License States
Section titled “License States”Depending on the account, users may see messaging related to:
- Trial access.
- Full subscription access.
- Beta access.
- Expiration warnings.
- Grace-period behavior.
- Expired subscriptions.
- Blocked or banned access.
Version Notices
Section titled “Version Notices”NimbusDash can show a New Version Available notice when an update is available. The message may link administrators to Installed Bundles or release notes.
Support Guidance
Section titled “Support Guidance”If users report license or access messages, administrators should confirm the current license state and contact NimbusLabs support when needed.
Avoid documenting internal license code. Document the visible message, what it means, and the action an administrator should take.
