Exporting Data And Reports
NimbusDash supports exports for both detailed grid data and chart-based dashboard reports.
Export Grid Data
Section titled “Export Grid Data”Use the grid export menu to download data as CSV or Excel.
Grid exports are useful when users need to:
- Analyze results outside NetSuite.
- Share raw data with another team.
- Save a snapshot of filtered or grouped results.
The exported filename can use the dashboard name when available.
Export To PDF
Section titled “Export To PDF”Click the PDF icon in the top menu bar to export the dashboard to PDF.
PDF export is intended for chart-based reports. The dashboard must contain at least one chart. If there are no charts, NimbusDash shows The dashboard must contain at least one chart to export to PDF.
What The PDF Includes
Section titled “What The PDF Includes”PDF output can include chart images and report context such as dashboard title, company, report date, and prepared-by information.
Use PDF export when users need a formatted report rather than a raw data file.
Export Tips
Section titled “Export Tips”- Add and configure charts before exporting to PDF.
- Filter the grid before exporting if the chart should reflect a specific segment.
- Save the dashboard before exporting if you want the title and configuration to be reusable.
- Use CSV or Excel when users need detailed row-level data.
