Loading Saved Dashboards

The Load Dashboard page lists dashboards you can access. Use it to reopen dashboards created by you or shared with you.

Choose Load Dashboard from the left-hand navigation bar. NimbusDash displays a grid of available dashboards.

The list can include information such as:

  • Dashboard name.
  • Description.
  • Data source type.
  • Data source title.
  • Owner.
  • Created date.
  • Last modified date.
  • Last cached date.
  • Internal dashboard ID (the ID column shows the id without thousands separators).

Click a dashboard name to open it.

While the list is loading, NimbusDash shows Loading dashboards… If the list cannot be loaded, the picker shows the reason and a Reload page button.

If no dashboards are available, NimbusDash can show an empty state with a Create Dashboard action. Use this to start a new dashboard.

A dashboard may be missing from your list if:

  • It was not shared with you.
  • Your NetSuite role or employee was not included in the dashboard audience.
  • The dashboard is not public.
  • You do not have access to the underlying data source.
  • The dashboard was deleted or exists in another NetSuite account.

If you believe you should have access, ask the dashboard owner or an administrator to review the dashboard sharing settings.

Deleting a dashboard marks it inactive and removes its cache. The dashboard name can be used again, and the dashboard leaves the Load Dashboard picker. Only the owner or an administrator can delete a dashboard; Allow Audience to Edit does not include delete. If you are not allowed to delete, NimbusDash shows You do not have permission to delete this dashboard. A delete is refused while a cache build is running for that dashboard.

An administrator restores a deleted dashboard by clearing Inactive on the dashboard record in NetSuite. A daily sweep permanently purges dashboards that have been inactive and unmodified for 30 days.

NimbusDash dashboards can also be opened through direct links that include a dashboard ID. Direct links are useful for bookmarks, emails, and NetSuite shortcuts.
